

IAN ARMER is a twice optioned screenwriter and contracted author to John Hunt Publishing Ltd. His written work has been featured in numerous newspapers, magazines and online resources. He is a regular contributor to the cult magazine 'The Illustrated Ape' where his short stories and poetry have appeared alongside contributions from Maximo Park's Paul Smith and Radiohead's Stanley Donwood.
Ian's first novel, 'Mad Gods & Englishmen', is being published by the Soul Rocks imprint of John Hunt Publishing in 2012/2013.
Ian is also a filmmaker, having received funding from the UK Film Council in 2005, for his cult film 'C.T. of Notre Dame', nominated for the BBC Audience Award at the 2006 Manchester Commonwealth Film Festival. The short film, an imaginative hybrid of trash cinema and German expressionism, was picked up for a world wide distribution deal and has since screened across the UK and Europe, as well as enjoying a long life online.
He is currently in production on 'Red Cows Over Preston' - a children's fantasy short.
