Gabrielle Russell

Gabrielle is a writer and director. She is a graduate of the National Film and Television School. She has directed several short films, most recently LIKE FATHER a 30 minute drama set in Bosnia, and SCAPEGOAT a 24 minute drama for Channel Four Television’s ‘Coming Up’ new talent series. She is currently developing a feature film KISMET about a British Asian woman who runs away with her young son. Her award winning short HIGHRISE is available on the BBC filmnetwork website.
