The Occupied Times Of London

City of London, United Kingdom
FUNDED

The OT provides a space for voices from and about the occupation movement, with the aims of advancing debate, educating the public, and offering an alternative to the mainstream media narrative.

The OT is a non-profit, free newspaper. We produced the first issue for a little over £200, funded by the movement's finances, and the following five for £350 each. However, in order to make the newspaper sustainable, and increase to 16 pages twice monthly, we require independent funding to avoid becoming a drain on the movement's resources.

We hope to raise £2000 within a month to enable us to publish at least four more issues. Once we raise enough to secure the newspaper's future, additional money will go in to the movement's funds. (We will gladly take donations from outside the UK, but regret that we cannot post rewards to overseas addresses)

We would like to say a huge thanks to everyone who has kindly donated so far. Your support means we can afford to publish the next issue, and The Occupied Times lives on for another edition!

Issue #7 will see us increase from twelve to sixteen pages, with a centre spread special on the eurozone crisis and a print run of 2000 copies. We will stick with this set-up for now, with a view to increasing our print run in the future.

We do still need more donations to meet our target of £2000, though. So please share this page, the paper and our website so others might also donate to this project.

Thank you again, from everyone at The Occupied Times.
