Folie à Deux

The Film

I have produced, directed and nearly finished a feature film entitled Folie à Deux. It's an arthouse drama about an internet suicide pact, and we have interest from non-UK distributors, and also international film festivals are keen to take the film.

The Funds

We need a small amount of money to complete the film. We have less than one week's work to do on the film, and seems crazy to fall at the last hurdle. I had been due to fund this remaining part of the movie myself, but money I'm owed has not materialised (it's a long story!). I am one of the main investors in the film, as I believe in it and think that we have made a great film that is both mesmerising, thrilling, chilling and ultimately very moving.

How the Funds will be used

The money we need is to cover the very last stage of postproduction: audio mixing, adding the end credits and making master copies. Any additional funds remaining will be used to create marketing materials (posters, postcards, DVD screeners etc) and to enter the film into film festivals (which frequently charge for submissions).
