TIME IS RUNNING OUT!

Since it doesnt look like the full $5,000 will be reached.  This is what will happen.   If I can reach $1,000 I will be able to get 100 12" Singles with Generic label and Sleeve.  If I reach $800, I can get 100 7" singles with generic sleeve and label.  Anything less than $800 will go towards a special edition CD Release that ALL will receive who have donated in its place of vinyl.  So I am hoping I can at least get a record pressed.  Please help support my dream.  Your support is appreciated.

DREAM INTO ACTION

Growing up as a teen in the '80s, I was all about the music. I loved everything from Cyndi Lauper and Boy George to RUN DMC and Aerosmith,  But 2010 took me on an adventure that I never expected.  Not only was I a DJ and a Singer/Songwriter as a teen but I had dreams of recording songs with some of my favorite artists of the 80s.  I remember when Samantha Fox was really huge in the States with 'Touch Me' and 'Naughty Girls'. I wrote a song back then called 'London To LawTown' and I always imgined it as a duet between her and I.  Who would of thought that some 20+ years later it would actually happen?  Yes, It did.  Needless to say, 2010 was an amazing year for me and I am hoping that 2012 will be just as good with your help.  Not only did I record with Samantha Fox but also with other 80s artists including Salt N Pepa, Nu Shooz, Boy George, U.T.F.O. and Tiffany.  The song I did with Tiffany is called 'Its Okay Boy' and it was actually released not that long ago as a maxi-single with remixes.  I wrote that entire song and I am so proud of it.  Who would of thought that the girl who used to sing 'I Think Were Alone Now' back on my radio in the 80s would now in song with me.  Its Mind Blowing!

Well, this is what I need now.  The music is all done. Took 2 years to record it but its finally complete.  Now what I need is to give these songs an official home on a proper release.  Some call this going backwards, but for me its a goal as well as a dream to have my music pressed on vinyl.  The manufacturer has a minimum limit of 1,000 Vinyl LPs.  This includes full color artwork and shrink (retail ready). The reason I want the records is because it all comes down to the 80s.  And records were a big part of my teenage years back then.  So of course the ultimate dream would be to have my music released on vinyl.  Not only do I want a Vinyl release.   But I would also like to release a 1,000 CD copies of the album providing I receive enough funds for both. 

Also, I run my own indie label with no help as far as publicity and promotions go and funding is very limited.  I am in need of funding for the proper materials to get the word out on this release.  I have done the email thing and lets just say, technology seems to be clogged in certain areas as people do not tend to reply to messages.  So, if I have such items as postcards and press kits.  I could then submit hard copy material to the press, radio and media in general.  I'd even send a copy to Perez Hilton! lol

I am a very 'Colorful' artist. Hence the name 'Crayone'.  My promotional photos are tribute shots to the 80s.  The red top hat pic is my tribute to the Cyndi Lauper album cover 'Twelve Deadly Cyns'.  The others are inspired from my Break Dancing days back in the 80s.

The feedback I have been receiving on my last CD 'Presto' has been amazing.  Everyone from Gloria & Emilio Estefan to Lisa Lisa and Ricky Martin love my album.  It was a Limited Edition CD pressing that needed more expsore.  Hopefully, I will raise enough to get more copies of the CDs pressed.
